Cincinnati Bengals’ safety Chinedum Ndukwe and Cleveland Browns’ offensive tackle Joe Thomas will both be featured in larger than life sculptures- hand crafted from 2-thousand of pounds of BUTTER! The presentation of the butter sculpture is an annual tradition for the Ohio State Fair and American Dairy Association. This year’s theme is the ADA’s Fuel Up to Play 60 campaign- both Ndukwe and Thomas have supported the program designed to encourage America’s youth to eat a balanced diet and to play 60 minutes a day.
Many celebrities, politicians and athletes know they’ve “made it” when their likeness is sculpted in wax for the famed Madame Tussauds museums. Two popular NFL stars recently had their likenesses sculpted in a much tastier medium well suited for popcorn, baked potatoes and corn on the cob.
